An introduction to national biographical dictionaries renovation

چکیده
The aim of this paper is to take part in the debate about future national biographies today. In sense, we analyse biographical dictionaries as instruments for creation memory and a foundation processes building nation-states. We origin development context evolution biography. initially observe elements that condition dictionaries: geographical chronological framework which they are developed, criteria selecting personages whose be written biographers, structure sources biographies. At present, model being put into question by emergence new nationalisms superseding nations supranational bodies like European Union. Finally, based on above, set out proposal renovating these works XXI century.
